Budget Ballin': Entire Build Under/At $1000.00

So our Top 5 Affordable Subwoofers, and Amplifier list maybe our your budget range. But, in the spirit of budget building. We're going to comprise a full build under/at $1000.00. Now products on this list isn't on our previous Top 5 list. This is a new list of products with the stipulation of the entire build must be under/at $1000.00, and must be a full system. Comprising of subwoofers, amps, head unit, door speakers, wiring, speaker wiring, RCAs, and batteries. We're not covering enclosure, high output alternator, starter battery, and any other products that maybe a option, but not necessary for a full system build.

So lets start front to back, and under the hood. You need the Big 3 Upgrade, and lucky Belva has what you need in their Big 3 kit. The BBG3KT has everything you'll need for your Big 3 upgrade. And, the Big 3 is important. Even with a stock alternator, and battery. The Big 3 Upgrade can help your electrical out majorly. And, this kit is priced right were you want it at $39.99. To get your budget build off to a great start. And, a great build starts with great electrical.

Moving inside of the car. You'll need an aftermarket head unit for your aftermarket system. And, the Pioneer DEH-150MP has you cover. This single din head unit has 3.5mm head jack auxiliary, 50 watts per 4 channels, and 2V RCA pre-out. Plus with its 5 band parametric equalizer, and built in high pass, and low pass filter. Makes tweaking your music to your taste super easy. And, with the price of $59.95. It fits right within your builds budget.

And, we can't have a full system without replace those stock door speakers. So, for your front door speakers Power Acoustik has what you need with their CPT-60C component speakers. Of course you can go with coaxial speakers, but we all know component speakers just sound better. And, just because their Power Acoustik brand don't take these speakers for low quality. These 80 watts RMS, 160 watts MAX speakers will surely brighten up your front sound stage even with the wattage coming from your head unit. And, for the price of $37.50. Who can argue with that? Of course with a external amplifier these components would sound even better. But that's a want, and not a necessity for your build.
Now, going to the back to the rear stage. You need something to accompany those 6.5 components in the front.Well, how about spoiling yourself a little since your budget balling with these Rockford Fosgate R169X2 speakers. These 6x9s will accompany your front stage nicely with its rich sound. And, for the price of $41.95. Your way within your budget lines with these high quality speakers.

Now, finally we're in the trunk where the main focus is. You need some BANG to show off your bucks. We'll NVX can provide that with their NSW122 subwoofer. But, you can't get just one at the price of $59.99. Let's do 6 of these 350 watt RMS, 700 watts MAX subwoofers. And, guess what? 6 of these NVX subwoofers won't cost you arm, and a leg of your budget. You can get 6 of these NVX NSW112 subwoofers for the total price of $359.94.

So, with all those subs you're going to need something to power them. And, that depends on what type of wattage your willing to run. At 350 RMS each. These subwoofers would need 2100 watts of power. And, at 700 watts MAX. These subwoofers would
need 4200 watts of power. Now, its better to be safe than sorry. So, lets go the safer route of powering these subwoofers between its RMS rating, and MAX rating. With 2 Hifonics ZRX1800.1 monoblock amplifier. Which will give us a total of 3600 watts at 1 ohm. That's 600 watts per sub. Which is more than enough to push those subwoofers. And, for that power you'll be paying a whopping $154.99 per amp which totals to $309.98.

Okay, we've got the front to back essentials covered. Now, we need to connect it together. No worries. The Install Bay got you covered again with their AK4 4 AWG CCA amp kit. That will provide 17 ft. of 4 AWG power cable, 3 ft. of 4 AWG ground cable, 17ft. of 18 AWG Blue remote turn-on wire, 17 ft. of Blue twisted pair shielded RCA cable, 25 ft. of 16 AWG speaker wire, 4 AWG In-line ANG fuseholder, 60 Amp ANL fuse, and installation hardware. And with the price of $22.99. You'll be able to get 2 of these to run to both your amplifiers at a total of  $45.98

Now, even with our Big 3 Upgrade up front. It always good to have a
secondary battery just to help out your electrical, and keep those lights from dimming when your bass is real cranked. And, that can be solved by the Shuriken SK-BT18 battery. Which has a small profile to fit in whatever trunk space you have left. At a pretty price of $59.99.

Which bring our final total for this entire build to $955.28. Which saves us $44.72 on the entire build. Any money saved is the best dollar saved.

DISCLAIMER: Now, this build is a little bit on the outrageous side, and some parts was on the list due to common ground of that most vehicles have 6.5 inch front speakers, and some older to new cars still have 6x9. Depending on vehicle. And, as stated many aspects of this list will vary. As to why we didn't include enclosure into the build price as it varies between vehicle size, and dimensions, and would have to be custom built for the build itself. And, the enclosure itself is a whole other half of the build, along with high output alternator, and etc. But, as previously said those products, or options, and not necessary to the basics of the build.

Brand Showcase: FU Audio

In the car audio world. Companies, and brands pop up in the blink of a eye. Some have been around for 10 plus years. While others are just beginning to get on their feet.

And, a brand we would like to share some light on is F.U. Audio. Of course when you think of F.U Audio. Some automatically think of "F--k You Audio" off the top of your head. And, think why would someone name their company that.

That's not the case with F.U. Audio. In short F.U. Audio stands for "For Us Audiophiles" which is catchy when you read the backstory of how this company came to be.

In their company bio they state "For Us. A Car Audio brand developed by a group of audiophiles who have engineered, built, sold, marketed and installed for most of our lives for other companies. When we say "For Us" we mean For Us Audiophiles: Everyone that has been in our shoes, is in our shoes or will be in our shoes."

With better understand of the company, and what it stands for. The question many have to ask. Is what is the mission of this company? Do like some companies that come into the car audio industry with good intentions of creating a quality product at reasonable prices. Or, just another company promising to be the savior, but become too expensive to affordable for the average consumer, and product quality becomes sub par.

Again, the founders of the company have the answer for inquiring minds. Saying "We have watched as many companies sell-out, stray away from their core principals, go cheap, degrade next years designs, run to China and more. Be assured with our 20 plus years invested in this industry and the built up frustrations of watching companies switching things up on their competitors and consumers in order stuff their wallets with more cash, we have absolutely no plans to travel down this path. We are the FUture of sound ,and we will lead by example."

Words that give the true meaning to what this company stands for as a strong foundation. This is not just a company of big wigs with money to gain from lovers of car audio. But, lovers of it themselves. People who have purchased products, and seen the productivity of greed as prices on products go up while the quality goes down. And, with the goals of creating better products for the people who share the same passion as them.

As of now F.U. Audio is just starting off with little to offer in products. But, they do have the intentions to spread into all aspect of car audio in manufacturing subwoofers, and amplifiers. Along with re-cone kits, and re-sizing kits. Which is all handmade, assembled, and tested by them in the great USA.

What is available at this time is their FU750 series woofers. A re-define of quality and performance expectations of a 2.5" coil subwoofer. With the ability to handle 750 RMS and a motor pulling force of 55.8 pounds it is guaranteed to exceed expectations. The FU750 is their entry level woofer and yet they still choose to use the best Y35 ferrite material for their motor, rather than the cheaper route. With minimal customization that can be done to the FU750, this will allow anyone that hears one know their starting point and exactly the performance they can get from "stock" FU products.

The FU750 series from F.U. Audio comes in an arrangement of dual 2 ohm, and dual 4 ohm voice coil. In the sizes of 12 inches, 15 inches, and 18 inches. With price ranging of $199.99 for their 12 inch model, $219.99 for their 15 inch model, and $245.99 for their 18 inch model. With a 3 week waiting period. Since each subwoofer is built to order when ordered. Which takes 1-2 weeks depending on orders ahead, and 5 to 7 days on shipping.

For more on F.U. Audio. You can visit their website here, or their Facebook page here. For their warranties, and guarantees, build photos, and more.
